Announcements 10.01.2014 Camping...


Our First camping trip is OCT 10 - 12. at Abalufah. 3548 Selvitz Rd.
Fort Pierce, Florida. Deadline for sign up and payment is due Today.
Sign up Sheets are available. NEW Medical forms need to be filled
out. Tshirts are available for purchase. General camping details handout
available. 2 gallons of water per person. Please wear class-A uniforms
while traveling to the campsite, then t-shirts. Earliest arrival is 5pm

Popcorn...
Please sign up for our annual popcorn sales. There are still lots of spots
available and we have new locations.. If you have any questions regarding
popcorn sales please see Monica Deal.

Misc...

Webelos work day this Saturday... hopefully some of you registered.
They are full and will not be taking walk ins.

SAW. Please let your webelos leaders know if youre interested in
going. We can sign up as a group.

Veteran’s Day Parade Sunday NOV 9th. Details to come.

Today several volunteer parents and Scouts participated in the National Scouting Car Wash Event.  Our wash was held at the 7-11 at Le Chalet Blvd. and Military Trail.  We began the wash at 8:30 am with our first car and ended at 11:30 am due to the severe weather.  In this short time, the dedicated crew raised $365.00.  A portion of the funds will be given to the District and the majority will remain with Pack 296 to benefit our Scouts.

Again, a big thanks to all who assisted, brought supplies and had family and friends show up with dirty cars!!!!

SUDS FOR SCOUTING ...
September 6th... Council wide car wash!  8:30- 12:30ish at 7-11 LeChalet and Military. Bring any
buckets soap tire cleaner etc you’d like to donate. WE NEED DRYING TOWELS!!!

WELCOME MOVIE NIGHT ...
September 12th... Movie Night at Citrus Cove Pavillion. 7-9:30. Movie TBD. Popcorn and lemonade

DUES ARE DUE ...
Dues for the year are due 9.10.14. If you pay on/before then you get a free Raingutter Regatta
boat!

RAINGUTTER REGATTA/CAMPUS CLEAN UP...
Get ready to race!! Our annual regatta is 9.28.14. 1 p.m. at Citrus Cove! The pack provides the
hambugers and hot dogs, each Den will help provide the side dishes etc for the afternoon. Den
leaders will coordinate with parents; enough to feed the pack.
Tigers = Chips / Fruit Wolves = Desserts (Brownies Cookies etc)
Bears = Salads, cole slaw etc. WeBelos = Sides (Mac n Cheese, Beans)

Parents to Round Table CLAW

Welcome New Scouts and Pack 296!!! We are planning an exciting year.  Some of the upcoming activities include our first Movie Night, Rain Gutter Regata, Abalufa Camping Trip.  Currently, the Pack is participating in the BSA Anual Popcorn Sales.   This is an excellent way to earn escrow for your account and great prizes.  Remember that the escrow you earn may be used to fund Pack events.  In addition, Pack 296 will be holding a fundraising car wash on Saturday September 6, 2014 at the 7-11 (LeChalet and Military Trail) from 8am to ???.  This event will help raise funds for the Pack and Escrow as well. All scouts are encouraged to participate.  We will have a sign up sheet at the September 3 meeting.
